General settings control how Xobito displays information across your workspace — dates, times, numbers, and the default language. These preferences apply to every user who logs into your workspace.
You need Admin or Owner permission to change general settings. Staff members see the settings they can edit based on their role.

Opening general settings

From the sidebar, click Settings → General.

Fields you can configure

Workspace name

The display name of your workspace. This appears in the top-left of the dashboard and in outgoing system emails.
  • Type: Free text
  • Max length: 60 characters
  • Example: Acme Support, Sunrise Hotel Bookings
Use a short, recognisable name — agents see it at the top of every page.

Timezone

Controls how all dates and times are displayed across Xobito — conversations, campaign schedules, reports, and logs.
  • Type: Dropdown (IANA timezone list)
  • Default: UTC
  • Common options:
    • America/New_York (US Eastern)
    • America/Los_Angeles (US Pacific)
    • Europe/London
    • Europe/Berlin
    • Asia/Dubai
    • Asia/Kolkata
    • Asia/Singapore
    • Australia/Sydney
Changing your timezone affects future scheduled campaigns and reports — it does not re-calculate times already displayed in historical logs.

Date format

How dates appear in tables, exports, and email notifications.
OptionExample
DD/MM/YYYY16/04/2026
MM/DD/YYYY04/16/2026

The language applied to every newly invited staff member and to system-generated text (menus, buttons, notifications). Existing staff keep the language they previously selected in their own profile.
Individual staff can override the workspace language in their own profile without affecting others.

Currency

Used on billing pages, invoices, and campaign cost reports.
  • Type: Dropdown (ISO 4217)
  • Default: USD
  • Examples: USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AED, AUD
Currency changes are cosmetic — Meta still bills you in the currency set on your Meta Business Manager account.

1.234,56European style
1 234,56French style

Frequently asked questions

No. Scheduled campaigns keep the absolute time they were set to. The new timezone only changes how that time is displayed.
Staff set their personal display timezone in their own profile (Profile → Preferences). The workspace timezone is used for shared views like campaign schedules and reports.
Only languages that have been installed in your workspace appear. Admins can install more — see Localization.
