Your Profile page is where you manage information specific to you — not the whole workspace. This page covers profile details, password changes, and language preference.
Workspace-wide settings (timezone, date format, default language for new users) live under Settings → General. See the end of this page for the difference.

Open your profile

1

Click your avatar

Top-right of any page, click your profile picture or initials.
2

Choose 'Profile'

Select Profile from the dropdown menu.

Update your personal details

The profile form lets you edit the following fields. Changes save when you click Save at the bottom.
FieldWhat it does
AvatarYour profile picture. Shown in chat, activity logs, and campaign attribution.
Full nameYour display name across the workspace.
EmailYour login email. Changing this requires re-verification.
Phone (optional)A contact number visible only to your team — not used for WhatsApp sending.
TimezoneUsed to display dates/times in your local zone.
Upload a square image (e.g. 512×512 pixels) for the cleanest avatar — rectangular images are cropped to a circle.

Changing your email

1

Enter the new email address

Edit the Email field and click Save.
2

Verify the new address

We send a verification link to the new address. Click it within 24 hours.
3

Log in with the new email

Your old email no longer works — use the new one from now on.
Don’t change your email and log out before verifying — you’ll lock yourself out until the link is confirmed. If this happens, contact support and we can reset it manually.

Change your password

1

Open the Password section

Scroll down on the profile page to Change Password.
2

Enter your current password

Required for security.
3

Enter a new password twice

Must match. Minimum 8 characters with a mix of letters and numbers recommended.
4

Click 'Update Password'

You stay logged in on this device but any other sessions are signed out.
Use a password manager. A long, unique, randomly generated password is far safer than one you can memorize.

Forgot your current password?

If you can’t remember your current password, log out and use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset via email. You don’t need to be logged in for this.

Language preference

Xobito supports multiple interface languages so everyone on your team can work comfortably.
1

Go to Settings → Languages

Click the gear icon in the sidebar and choose Languages (or Settings → General in some layouts).
2

Pick your language

Select from the dropdown. The list includes English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Hindi, and more depending on what your workspace administrator has enabled.
3

Click 'Save'

The interface reloads in your chosen language. Menu names, labels, dates, and buttons all switch.
Language settings screen
Changing your language affects only your view. Other people in your workspace keep their own language setting. Campaign message content, template bodies, and contact names are not auto-translated — they stay exactly as you wrote them.

Right-to-left (RTL) languages

Xobito fully supports RTL languages like Arabic and Hebrew. Switching to one of these automatically flips the sidebar to the right and mirrors layout elements where appropriate.

Your profile vs. workspace settings

It’s worth knowing the difference so you don’t hunt in the wrong place.

Profile (you only)

Your name, avatar, email, password, timezone, and personal language preference. Changes only affect you.

Settings → General (the whole workspace)

Default timezone for new users, date format, regional settings, fiscal year — applies to everyone in the workspace.
Only Admin roles can edit workspace-wide settings. Profile settings are available to everyone.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for every account with billing or admin access.
1

Go to Profile → Security

Scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication section.
2

Click 'Enable 2FA'

Xobito shows a QR code.
3

Scan with an authenticator app

Use Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or any TOTP app.
4

Enter the 6-digit code

This confirms your authenticator is set up correctly.
5

Save your recovery codes

Print them or store them in your password manager. If you lose your phone, these codes are the only way back in.
Store recovery codes outside your password manager if possible — if you lose access to the manager and your phone, recovery codes in a separate place are the fallback.

Troubleshooting

That’s expected. Changing password signs out all other sessions for security. Just log back in on the other device.
Check the file is under 2 MB and in PNG or JPG format. If it’s larger, resize first.
Ask your workspace admin to enable it. Admins can add or remove languages under Settings → Languages at the workspace level.
Use one of your recovery codes on the login page. Each code works once. After logging in, disable 2FA and re-enable it with your new device.
